Draka Multimedia Solutions cabling has always been committed to delivering safe and reliable cablings for critical comms system. We are proud to inform that our Fire Alarm Cables (FAC Series) and Security Comms (SAC series) Cables are now UL Listed, complying to the FPLR / CMR standards critical for Alarm systems. These cables are also available in Low Smoke Zero Halogen sheathing to ensure minimum smoke density and toxicity when burnt.

Draka “FAC series” Fire Alarm Cable (12 to 18 AWG; 1 or 2 pairs or more) are widely used in fire alarm or intercom systems. Draka “SAC series “Security Cables (12 to 22 AWG; 1 or 2 pairs or more) are most suitable for applications such as security , intercom , broadcast and audio. Designed with PVC-CMR outer sheath provides much better fire performance over the commonly offered PVC outer sheath.

Both types of cables comply to stringent flame retardant standard ie IEC 60332-1, low smoke IEC 61034, zero halogen and low acidity IEC 60754 , UL certified NEC FPLR & CMR .

Both cables offered in both unshielded and shielded design. The unshielded version offered for low electromagnetic interference environment and, the shielded version is especially suitable for environment with high level of “white noise”.  The cables are twisted to minimize crosstalk interferences and are available in awg sizes up to multi pairs counts.
